Holiday Apron Giveaway!

[Edit: Comments are closed and a winner has been chosen!]

rosemary tree

I can hardly believe it, but Scrumptious Photography is 1 year old today!! :) It has been a great year personally — I got married and had an amazing honeymoon to Greece — and I've loved meeting so many people through my blog and learning so much about baking, food and food photography.

In keeping with the holiday spirit and the celebration of my blogoversary, I wanted to share the love with all of my readers and have a giveaway! I'm sure you all love free stuff as much as I do, so read on to see the prize...

menorah

But before we get to the giveaway, I want to tell you about a couple of new things going on ;) I've recently joined Twitter! If you're also on Twitter, let me know by following me. You can also keep up with my tweets in the Twitter Updates section at the right.

Also, you can now subscribe to my blog through email, as well as in your RSS reader like before. Either click on the "Subscribe" link at the top right, or scroll down to find the Subscribe via Email button.

Enough of that... on to the actual giveaway! ;)

...::Drumroll::...

It's a Jessie Steele snowflake apron!

Yes, it's the uber cute one that's on the Jessie Steele homepage at the moment. I got it at Girly Aprons (sorry to the guys... distinct lack of manly aprons there). By the way, I just want you to know that I am totally jealous of whoever wins this. But I'm pretty sure A. would object to my keeping it, since I already have 2 aprons in our tiny closet ;)

Here's how to win...

  • Leave a comment on this post! Tell me what your favorite holiday song is :) (Mine is The Christmas Song!)

  • Make sure I have some way to contact you to let you know if you've won.

  • Multiple entries will only count as one.

  • The winner will be chosen at random using random.org.

That's it! I'll announce the winner next Wednesday, December 17.

In the meantime, check out some photos of the packaged apron by my teeny Christmas "tree" (which is actually rosemary!)

Good luck and Happy Holidays!! :)

Happy Blogoversary! I'm a recent subscriber--love visiting :)

Can I just say, my husband and I went to Greece over the summer for vacation and had a wonderful time too. I just looked through all of your Greece posts and was so reminded of how beautiful it was there and how much I miss it. You look like you had a fabulous time, and ate lots of good things (How can you not in Greece? We did too!) You made a comment about how you took so many pictures--don't even worry, we did too, and I had a heck of a time trying to downsize for the two blogs posts that I did on our trip, haha. Congratulations on your recent wedding!!

My favorite holiday song, or songs, are The Christmas Waltz or There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays. Or, any Christmas song by the Carpenters. Hee, can't pick just one! :)

As a recent transplant to LA from the East Coast, I NEED memories to get me in the holiday spirit with 70 degree weather in December. We know that cookies are the lifeblood of the holidays as is "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" but the version by Otis Redding. Love your blog and share your food addiction! A. E.

nice apron! ummm... I'm not sure I can pick one Christmas song. I have favorite albums--The Carpenters, The Muppets (w/ John Denver), etc.--but I couldn't pick just one song. I suppose Nat King Cole singing "The Christmas Song" is really the epitome of all Christmas songs, though.

Kim said...

Oh man, I'm not sure I can pick just one Christmas song. I am one of those crazy people who REALLY LOVES Christmas music...and pretty much all of it! If I had to pick thought...hmmm. I'm a big fan of White Christmas and Let is Snow. And also Jolly Old Saint Nicholas. Oh, and Baby it's Cold Outside. Totally not one song...I know...

That apron is so adorable! I love it! Thanks for the chance to win it!!

Happy blogoversary!

Happy Blog-iversary!! You've only been blogging for a year?? You seem like such a pro, I thought you had been doing it for longer! I love your blog, and your pictures, and I'm flattered that you come to visit mine and leave comments!

Favorite Christmas song? I love them all, but I am getting a little tired of "Jingle Bell Rock". They are playing it all the time on the radio! I've been listening to Christmas music since Halloween. Sad...I know.

Love the apron!

Happy Blogoversary! I had no idea that so many of us started blogging last December (mine is coming up later in the month). I have a hard time picking just one song. I have a whole bunch of holiday CDs that I listen to during the entire month of December. If I had to pick one, it would probably be Bing Crosby singing White Christmas, since that's my favorite holiday movie as well.

Congratulations on your anniversary!

My favorite Christmas song is Darcy the Dragon, which is about a dragon who wants to buy Christmas presents for his friends but can't because "unlike a horse, a dragon of course breathes fire whenever he speaks" and he keeps burning down the stores. But then he swollows a bunch of snow, and it puts out the fire inside of him.
