So, a while back I promised a photo of the chocolate souffle from my birthday dinner at Roy's... and I am finally making good on that promise! You might want to sit down for this full-on chocolatiness:

In non-photo news, I went to the Choice Eats tasting last night sponsored by the Village Voice. In short, it was spectacular. Delicious food, drinks included in the $25 ticket price... it was a really well-executed event which left me regretting that I hadn't worn elastic-waist pants. I also spent the night wishing I had my camera, but I would have had to grow a second pair of hands to use it because I was too busy stuffing my face!

This is definitely scrumptious photography! I love this photo and I'm going to use it on my new "best desserts" page at Chocolate Candy Mall. I wish I had the recipe to go with it! Oh yum!
