I tried out my spankin' new waffle iron the other day and used part wheat flour, part almond flour. They turned out pretty well (once I threw away a couple of the inital ones....)

I tried to use almond flour instead of wheat flour, but ran out of the awesome almond flour that they sell here so it needed a bit more wheat flour. Either way, it tasted pretty good! (Even when frozen and toasted back up... one of the many great features of a waffle!)
